The dynamic Spectra onboarding experience and dedicated support team enabled a boutique law firm to leverage the industry’s most powerful technologies to defensibly and quickly produce a massive amount of data.

What They Needed

A California-based boutique law firm was tasked with quickly reviewing and producing a colossal amount of data in a complex media matter. The firm recognized they would require a highly efficient means of managing data discovery to manage their growing book of business of high-profile clients in the entertainment industry. As a lean firm recognized for its outstanding legal counsel and tailored, transparent pricing, the firm wanted to move to a cloud-based end-to-end eDiscovery platform that could allow them to reduce their time spent wrestling with outdated legacy technologies. With a production deadline quickly approaching, they also required an easy-to-use, intuitive solution with an efficient onboarding process and access to support resources, should they need it.

How We Did It

After some research, the law firm chose Spectra as their all-in-one eDiscovery solution. Lighthouse worked closely with the law firm to create a flexible pricing plan that was tailored to their current budget requirements, and the Spectra on-boarding team guided the firm’s attorneys through a set of short training sessions to familiarize them with Spectra and the eDiscovery tools embedded in the platform, including Relativity and Brainspace.

After onboarding, the firm was assigned a dedicated Spectra support team to ensure the needs of the firm and its matters were met with ease. The firm’s attorneys were encouraged to reach out to the support team with any questions and requests as they reviewed documents and prepared productions.

As part of the dedicated Spectra support service, the firm also had access to the Spectra Client Resource Center to leverage on-demand video tutorials demonstrating how to perform common eDiscovery tasks within on-platform tools.

The Results

Spectra subscription-based pricing gave the law firm the ability to stay lean and pass on their eDiscovery cost savings to their clients, maintaining their commitment to the transparent, trustworthy legal pricing for which they are known.
