New data center provides additional protection and extended connectivity to clients.
SEATTLE, Wash. (March 23, 2015)Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery services, today announced the selection of Ashburn, Virginia, as the location for the company's east coast data center. The addition of an east coast data center further enhances Lighthouse's ability to quickly recover in the event of a catastrophe and offers a high degree of geographic diversity for the company's clientele.

In the event of a regional disaster, Lighthouse can rapidly transfer operations to the other data site and users can continue to work as usual. The east coast location offers additional geographic diversity for the company's operational capabilities and is well positioned to take advantage of robust connectivity options on the East Coast.

"The addition of an east coast data center allows Lighthouse to reach new markets and offer our clients an extra layer of protection when it comes to their data," said Mark King, vice president of technology services. "The Ashburn location will provide us with a state-of-the-art datacenter, including sophisticated monitoring systems, high security, a redundant infrastructure and the services we need to continue to ensure best-in-class enterprise performance, availability, and data security worldwide."

The facility in Ashburn is designed for mission-critical operations and will offer Lighthouse the tools it needs to ensure our client's data is accessible and safe. The 71,000 square foot facility is owned and operated by Zayo, a global provider of data center and bandwidth infrastructure services. It is SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 certified and features a wide array of physical security systems, including 24/7 on-site staff, video surveillance throughout the facility, and a multi-level access authorization with biometric verification and security-controlled access level assignment. The facility also has a state-of-the-art monitoring system that provides real-time data on equipment operation, enabling easy system management and instant identification of problems.

Lighthouse expects to have the new data center up and running in April. For more information, please contact info@lighthouseglobal.com
