Lighthouse Recognized as Best Service Provider Solution Finalist in the 2015 Relativity Innovation Awards

October 7, 2015

Annual competition honors those who build outstanding applications and integrations on top of Relativity.
SEATTLE, Wash. (Oct. 7, 2015) Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery services and consulting, today announced that it has been named a Relativity Innovation Awards finalist for Best Service Provider Solution for the second consecutive year. Lighthouse's PrivSmart Privilege Log application is a groundbreaking, Relativity-based solution, which automates and streamlines the manual work associated with the privilege logging process. Privilege logs can now be automatically generated directly from the Relativity platform, complete with privilege descriptions and normalized attorney names, saving clients significant time and expense.

"The PrivSmart Privilege Log application saves clients hundreds of hours on large privilege logs and frees up outside counsel to focus on the strategic elements of the case," said Brian McManus, chief executive officer of Lighthouse. "Lighthouse's team of legal and technology experts continually work to innovate and create solutions like this one to reduce our clients' overall eDiscovery spend and expand the functionality of the Relativity platform. We are honored to be named one of the finalists in the 2015 Relativity Innovation Awards."

kCura, developers of the eDiscovery software Relativity, will recognize finalists and announce winners during a special ceremony at Relativity Fest, held October 11-14 in Chicago. This year, the annual user conference brings nearly 1,500 users together for a three-day event featuring engaging panel discussions, hands-on labs, breakout sessions, and insights from both kCura staff and Relativity end users.

The Relativity Innovation Awards celebrate and showcase the best custom solutions created by the Relativity community. Judges selected solutions that use various application integration points to display a full use of the Relativity API's capabilities to streamline processes, solve complex workflow needs, and create an altogether new solution that positively impacts their business strategy.

"Privilege review is costly, time consuming, and manual," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "Lighthouse's PrivSmart application builds efficiency and eliminates potential for errors by automating privilege log building and normalizing names across case data."
