Summary: Most legal AI breaks down at scale. LighthouseIQ was built to meet that challenge. Learn how this next-generation legal intelligence platform connects insight to execution across the entire matter lifecycle.

Today, I am excited to share that Lighthouse is officially launching LighthouseIQ, a next-generation legal intelligence platform. This new solution helps legal teams understand their data faster, act smarter, and save money by embedding intelligence across the entirety of a matter.

Built and proven across some of the largest and most complex matters in the world, LighthouseIQ brings together advanced AI, massive-scale data processing, and deep legal expertise into a unified platform. It’s purposefully designed for high-stakes litigation, investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Rather than introducing another standalone AI tool, LighthouseIQ represents a fundamental evolution in how legal intelligence is delivered by connecting insight directly inside the workflows legal teams already trust.

Why We Built LighthouseIQ

Corporate data becomes a fundamentally different technical challenge once it enters a legal, regulatory, or investigative context. Volumes are massive, formats are heterogeneous, timelines are compressed, and every output must withstand adversarial scrutiny, regulatory review, and evidentiary standards.

LighthouseIQ was engineered specifically to meet those constraints. Rather than layering AI on top of existing tools, LighthouseIQ is a unified intelligence platform designed to normalize, interpret, and operationalize legal data at scale, while preserving evidentiary integrity and defensibility.

Why Traditional Architectures Break at Legal Scale

Most AI tools fail in legal contexts for predictable reasons:

  • They require bounded data volumes
  • They rely on single-model or prompt-based approaches
  • They separate “analysis” from execution
  • They introduce defensibility, privacy, or explainability gaps

LighthouseIQ addresses these issues at the platform level.

At the core of LighthouseIQ is IQ Fabric, the foundational layer that integrates and orchestrates large-scale data processing, AI cognition, and workflow execution into a single system.

Processing: standardization without data loss

  • Ingests any document type or source
  • Normalizes content at massive scale
  • Preserves metadata, structure, and context required for downstream legal use

This ensures AI models operate on consistent, legally faithful representations of the data, even across rolling productions and evolving datasets.

Cognition: interpreting enterprise content through a legal lens to surface key insights and deepen understanding

  • Predictive models for classification and prioritization
  • Generative models for synthesis, summarization, and explanation
  • Task-specific models tuned for legal language, privilege, responsiveness, and narrative structure

Orchestration: turning insight into action by connecting AI outputs directly into legal workflows and automating tasks to streamline work

  • Integration with review platforms like Relativity
  • Structured deliverables (chronologies, deposition kits, logs)
  • Human decision points for validation and QC
  • Use of multiple models allowing us to optimize for specific facets of performance like speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency

This eliminates the gap between “analysis” and “execution” that plagues many AI tools.

LighthouseIQ delivers its intelligence through a tightly integrated suite of four purpose-built applications, each designed to solve a critical problem across the matter lifecycle while operating on a shared platform foundation.

  • IQ Answers enables natural-language querying across massive datasets, allowing teams to surface grounded, document-backed answers as soon as data is available (often before traditional review cycles begin)
  • IQ Case Strategy builds on those early insights by transforming prioritized documents into structured, execution-ready work product such as chronologies, timelines, and deposition or witness preparation kits
  • IQ Review applies regulator-accepted predictive and generative AI workflows to accelerate responsive review and issue analysis at extreme scale, reducing review populations while increasing precision and defensibility
  • IQ Priv uses advanced privilege classifiers and generative AI to identify privileged content with higher accuracy and automatically generate consistent, production-ready privilege logs

These applications are not standalone point solutions. They work together as coordinated components of a single intelligence system that is designed to move seamlessly from insight to action, as matters evolve.

LighthouseIQ is battle-tested on some of the world’s most complex matters. Proof of its performance comes from real-world results. To date, LighthouseIQ has analyzed over 1.4 billion documents including multiple matters exceeding 25 million documents. In one instance, LighthouseIQ analyzed 33 million documents for a single matter in just a matter of hours. We have not yet discovered any upper limits to the volume scale that LighthouseIQ can support. At the same time, LighthouseIQ outputs have been accepted by both the FTC and DOJ, so customers can rest assured that every output is defensible.

Limited Risk-Free Trial of IQ Answers

We are so excited about the benefits our customers can gain with LighthouseIQ that we want to make it easy for everyone to try right now. So, as part of our launch, we’re offering a limited time, risk-free trial of IQ Answers to all qualified buyers. This isn’t a trial on some random data set. We’re offering the ability to try IQ Answers on your own data to achieve a goal defined by you.
