Lighthouse, a leader in technology-enabled eDiscovery, compliance and information governance services, today announced that Chris Dahl, vice president of Product Development and Advisory Services, has been elected to serve on the Seattle University Law Alumni Board. The Law Alumni Board serves as an advisory council to the dean of Seattle University's School of Law and the Office of Advancement to drive programs and initiatives designed to provide law students resources and mentorship opportunities and to build a strong, collaborative alumni network.

"We're thrilled that Chris has been presented this opportunity," said Brian McManus, chief executive officer at Lighthouse. "This is a great representation of the commitment our people make to improving lives and helping to develop and advance our local communities."

The Law Alumni Board advises the Office of Advancement on initiatives aimed to strengthen relationships in growing an inclusive community of alumni, faculty, staff and students. Board members are selected based on their commitment to advance Seattle University School of Law's mission to educate powerful advocates for justice.

"I'm honored to have been selected to serve on the Law Alumni Board," said Chris Dahl, vice president of Product Development and Advisory Services. "It's important to give back to the communities where we live and work. The Law Alumni Board partners with faculty and students alike to ensure students are on the path to success in their professional endeavors after graduation, and I'm proud to be a part of that initiative."

The Law Alumni Board is broken out into five sub-committees: Development, Mentoring and Professional Development, Outreach, Regional and South Sound and Strategic Planning. Dahl serves on the Mentoring and Professional Development Committee, which works with the Office of Advancement and the Center for Professional Development on programs designed to help students develop sufficient professional skills needed to be successful after law school.

Dahl received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. During that time, he served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable James L. Robart, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Washington.
